Maintenance Clerks provide specialized clerical work for the maintenance department and complete duties such as managing maintenance information, ensuring the smooth operation of the maintenance department, operating office equipment, generating computer reports, compiling different sorts of information, and maintain inventory records.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Works closely with the Facility and Production Managers of Maintenance to ensure the mission, vision, and a set of measurable objectives are achieved for the Facilities and Maintenance Department
Compile reports as requested
Performs clerical and bookkeeping duties for the Maintenance Department
Responsible for monitoring timekeeping and submitting any errors or adjustments needed to payroll for department of Maintenance
Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques
Provides information by answering questions and requests from general public, administrators and other personnel
Maintains supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies
Compiles data from vendor invoices and supporting documents to verify accuracy of billing data and to ensure receipt of items ordered, using calculator and computer
Compares invoices against purchase orders and shipping and receiving documents to verify receipt of items ordered
Performs all other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Abilities:
To be successful in this role one will need to be computer proficient
Have a keen eye with attention to detail and accuracy
Exceptional organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a problem solver, and a willingness to learn the consumer products business
Familiar with maintenance procedures, a plus
Education & Experience:
Minimum of HS Diploma
2-3 years of relevant experience in an office environment
Reliable
Flexible
Able to work with little supervision
MUST be Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of siting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift to 10 pounds with assistive equipment
Must be able to walk to various areas of the warehouse as required
